Does anyone know if the yellow can be removed and the eyes fixed from these two pics?

You should be able to do a lot by playing with the color balance and color saturation. You final results will depend on the initial quality of the image.

This is my quick attempt, moving yellow toward blue, green toward magenta and decreasing the color saturation. I'm sure better results can be had with a little more effort.

I agree with Tux. I eyeballed it (see my settings used). :)

There is actually a filter for this, somewhere, that adjusts it automatically. I'm trying to find it.

After you run the script, you can adjust the layer(s) opacity to suit. Guess its not much quicker, though, lol: (but it is another option)

Hey guys you are doing great on those. I was trying to fix the eyes but red eye doesn't seem to work on white eyes. Hey Tux, these two babies live right down there not too far from you in Shelby......
Thank you so much, the both of you....

I dropped the picture into G'MIC, went to Colors - CMYK and raised magenta contrast and lowered yellow contrast just a tad, then boosted the brightness on each just a tad. Just another option.

:yes These are all so great that I guess I will just send these to my sister and let her pick. Thank you. I will practice on some of the originals how each one of you did these so I can get some experience with this kind of thing. :wh

Another method is to use the colour picker on the typical yellow. Use the colour wheel to point to the opposite (a blue tint). Now add a new layer with the blue tint in Color Blend mode and use the opacity slider to get a starting point.
As far as the eyes are concerned you will have to do these by "painting" as the white means that all colour info is lost and no amount of fiddling will introduce colour.

Wow-

You are the complicated kids at doing things ;)

The "proper" (meaning simplest) tool for colour correction is the levels tool. Just use the grey dropper (the middle of the three droppers) and click on what should be a neutral colour cast point in the image (I used one of the cards on the wall behind):

I tried to do the eyes by selecting with the circular tool and didn't have much luck so I put the image up to 400%, used the color picker and selected a color that came close to matching the eyes. I used a small fuzzy brush and closed in the white part just left a small am't of white to make the eyes shine.

Oh that's laborious! After a few attempts, I got married!
With more time, try again another day. :spock

Here's my attempt. More for practice than anything. Since I've already seen much better results in the listings. I just backed off the saturation and a lot of the yellow went away. Then I tried to compensate with a blue hue as an overlay at barely there opacity. That seems to take care of the yellow.

I too ended up painting in that glowing eye, though I used the clone tool and ended up airbrushing some pupils in because that made this poor kid look like a baby zombie.

EK22 :coolthup

I liked the result, that skin tone was what I sought. But I made it very bluish.
I'll try that route and see if I can get something close.
