Hi, I would apply the same steps the previos image. Except for saturation because the image has much saturation. I'd low it
I think that Expossure comes with Gimp. Not sure. Colors - Exposure.

You could try also:

- duplicate
- c2g
- set c2g layer to burn
- new from visible
- play with exposure
-. black level 0,5
-. exposure -1.5

At the end of previous process you may use
- (G) saturation 0.8
to reduce it

new result

c2g layer is the duplicated layer after having applied Colors/Desaturate/(G)Color to Gray

Hi Issabella,

Thanks for your help.

Please advise.
1) Can I increase the black color of the stones ?
2) Can I sharpen the photo ?

Thanks

As curiosity, may I know in which city of Aragón you're staying? I have visited several cities of Spain before, such as Bilbao (northern sea port), Barcelona, Madrid (capital) ...

muchas gracias

Layer -> Duplicate Layer -> Color -> Desaturate -> Color to Gray

It becomes a black and white photo

Do the steps as indicated:
if you set layer mode of the duplicated layer to BURN (after C2G) the result is NOT gray

You are showing GEGL Operation
Does this mean that you do not find...
- on the top menu: Colors
- on the Colors menu: Desaturate
- on the Desaturate menu: (G) Color to Gray...
maybe we have a different system environment
