Even though I didn't save all of the photo here I am pretty pleased with this one. Few others are impressed too.

That is great Sallyanne, I'm really impressed how you got to fix the photo no existing so large zone keeping tones colour and texture. :jumpclap

Really beautiful work, Sallyanne! It takes me a long time to work on photos damaged like that, and sometimes results are not so good.

That's a real tough one.
You're a brave woman to take that one on Sallyanne.
I wouldn't even have attempted it.
:clap

sallyanne: :wow you are impressing me big time now :)! i'd take one look at all those cracks and scratches and give up, but you actually managed to get a face and a body and even hair on that baby! i wonder, now that you have that basic structure of the image restored, would it be possible to get more detail in by using cut out pieces of the original on separate layers and play around with layer modes?

Here is one of my most recent
We were asked to

"Remove the photo corners;
Remove the writing "James A. Dempsey" from the photo;
In the top photo there are two photographs in wooden frames hanging on the wall - unfortunately those photos are "blown out", could they be replaced by the two wooden framed photos from the bottom print: and
Make it a larger photo"
