My sister took this picture with a dam i-pad and the eyes turned into a disaster. She wants me to fix it. Looks to me that this isn't going to be an easy chore, to say the least.
I was wondering if anyone out there would like the challenge. I am not even sure if it is doable.
Anyway, I will play around with it in the mean time.

O, I have never heard of anything that gets rid of white eye. I wish Gimp had it. That is a very nice job. I already sent your copy to North Carolina.

Here is another one . I decided to keep some of the white highlights in the eyes as it seemed to be the more natural look. As said before , very tough as you really have to draw the eye because there is no pixel info in the whites.

Yes you should see the pics she sent me of the boy, he looks just like a little man and he is only a little over a year old.

Wow, what a good job sallyanne, How did you get rid of the white, did you select each eye separately, and paint in the eye?.
Thank you. it is on it's way to NC with the others.

Thank you Molly. I just changed the contrast on the whole photo, yes I selected each eye with the 'eye dropper' tool and with the smallest setting on the paintbrush clicked on the eyes once with the view at 400%.

I know it's been a month since this was posted. I'm kind of trying to learn how to do this sort of thing right. So here's my submission to the family album. Even if it is really late.
