Hi all, a family member has asked me to try and enhance this old photograph.
I'm afraid I have little experience in this area. I have made an attempt but would love an 'expert' to see what they can achieve.
I appreciate your time and efforts in advance.
Cheers.

I'm not good with the levels or to leave the picture smooth without grains (The work done by K1TesseraEna is excellent). I've focused on on removing scratches and stains:

I played around with the contrast and light settings a little. I fear I may have tinkered a bit too much with the RV / Lear Jet setting. I can try sliding it back, if needed.

I don't think I can improve on the rv/lear jet filter but wanted to have a go anyways, ran a few photo filter and scripts but unable to remove the scratches.

Here's my shot at it. I've never done any kind of photo 'restoration' before now.
