Been playing with the new freebie in the ZBrush range - ZBrush Core Mini.

That looks similar to Blender's Sculpting Mode, although much fewer tools. I already have Blender (also free), so no need. It could be good for someone that maybe intimidated by Blender complexity however.

I have Blender too but I find it not as responsive as ZBrushCoreMini. I really feel like I am working with soft clay with this one. The advantage with Blender, however is you can combine sculpting with mesh modelling seamlessly. BTW, when you sculpt with Blender, how many subdivisions do you start with and do you apply a subsurface modifier from the beginning?

Looks good. I assume Zbrush has symmetry settings for the brushes so that you can mirror on axis like Blender?
