Photopea - A Free Photoshop Clone
Photopea is a copy of Photoshop made to work entirely within a web browser.
Just by going to the website you can start using it. I have not tested it out to see how it works. https://www.photopea.com/

It's many years I know it, that's truly an excellent editor (that's nice that you speak about it)
The the transform warp tool is absolutely stunning (like the one in Krita)

I have never used photoshop but I did try Photopea and it's okay. I'll just have to look at tutorials to get used to it. I wonder if it can be installed on the desktop. The online version has an option to install photopea but is that option a paid one or free?

Bookmark the page, it will run in your browser even when offline. Paid for removes the ads.
Loading fonts/brushes etc offline will give you the option to save to local storage. These will be loaded next time, otherwise they are lost when the browser is closed.
To delete resources click Edit>Local Storage...

That didn't answer my question, but I did book mark the page. This is what I mean:
The option is under "More" If downloaded, is the program free or paid?

There is no longer a downloadable standalone version, paid or otherwise from the developer Ivan Kutskir.
You need to create a paid premium account to remove the ads and have 2 further history steps.

Oh, okay. I went ahead and installed it to my desktop anyway. It still works the same and it comes up in a separate window, still running on the web.
This is what Photopea looks like when installed to my desktop:

Heads up: If you have adblocker, you are blocked from using Photopea.
It's not being well received by users, when the creator of photopea announced it on reddit.

If you use
Ublock Origin by Raymond Hill, it's because your filters have not updated yet > go to the Filters list,
1 purge
2 update

Last but not least, only one and one only add-blocker should be use, de-activate the others, also Ublock Origin does NOT accept donation, if you see a donation button > it's a fake.

PixLab,
I don't use Firefox. I use Edge and I only use AdBlock. When I tried to use photopea from my desktop yesterday, I was hit with the message of unable to use photopea because of the adblocker. I then deleted photopea. I thought photopea, was free. I was wrong. I think the creator, has now reversed what he did 14 hours ago. He also deleted the post on reddit. I have now put photopea back on my laptop since the creator has now allowed adblocker to run while using photopea. The creator says that he will gradually introduce ads to photopea in the future, however, it's still not free, even though the thread title says it is.
