Thanks very much for that information Kevin, that now makes a bit more sense to me. POV-Ray has a bit of a steep learning curve. I'll have to have a bit more of a look at the POV-Ray documentation.

Because of this thread on Flickr (http://www.flickr.com/groups/gimpusers/ ... 360065660/) about Damien Hirst spot paintings, I've added a suitable layout option.

And can anyone here answer the question:- Does G'MIC have a way of doing this? (Just the flat drawing, not the POVRay ray-tracing)

I'm working on it, actually.
Not so much time for it, because of holidays but it should be ready next week.
