Here's one I found when I was looking for other possibly open source flame painting apps. It's called Livebrush & The Livebrush Project There's free version and 'Pro' version for $10. It seems like pretty cool software! I downloaded the free version but really haven't had time to really dive into it! Here's the demo video from youtube: ![]() |

I want to say I saw this one a few years ago, but being a lazy filter guy, I said, that's nice and went on. Did the same for Flame Painter when I first saw this one a few years back too. I now have Flame Painter. lol Not sure I want to now spend more money for this one and do not like using dumbed down free programs, but will keep this one in mind if I ever actually do decide to abandon filters and start drawing (but like ice in hades, I don't think that will be any time soon; lol). ![]() |

I played with is for about a half hour. Difficulty I had was changing the color on things. I think that's where I got frustrated and went to bed! =) |

Yeah; did download one of them the other day but it didn't turn out to be that fantastic, but keeping it anyway. I still wish there would be an auto stroke feature; say you can port a path into the program then stroke the path with said brush. I did email the guy and he said that would be a fantastic idea (he did reply back to me). You know how lazy I am. lol ![]() |

I thought paths would be a good idea for accuracy. I like using my Wacom but I'm not very accurate with lines. They get very wobbly. |

I can select it in the small brush preview but it doesn't switch to it.All the other brushes work though. |

Just downloaded and tried to use it an you are right Rod; it's a defective brush apparently. I do hope Peter does allow for path stroke in a future upgrade. ![]() |
