I like your results. I've tried Blender before. I did a few 3D text renders, but that's about it, just never stuck with it. |

Lurifax73, the car looks fantastic.  You post these very cool Blender images, why not give some guidance for us Gimp folks that don't know Blender as well as you do. We all know Gimp and Blender complement each other but most of us don't know the Blender side. I'm sure a beginner tutorial about how you do it would be welcome. |

Thanks all of you. My english ar not so good. Wallace. Have you try to convert your text to mesh. Press ALT+C  Your name Wallace have 3 different materials Gold, Silver and dark metals.  Material Metal Gold look like this  Mackenzieh and Odinbc. I can help you with guidance but my skill is not that good. You guys don't need to start making cars. Maybe a text with 3 emitted lamps/planes) and rendered with cycles. To make my carbody you need one circle or uvsphere like this example.  Thanks. |

Hi, mackenzieh. For me 7-9 hours. For you, maybe few days. If you want, you can follow my next project how to make a Retro Hot Rod "Willys Jeep" Here, a pair of wheels with off road tires. Made from (Only oneTorus )  I think I use this first on. I spent about 30 minutes to make both tyres.

It's amazing what your making Lurifax73. I'm looking forward to your Retro Hot Rod "Willys Jeep". Edit, When I was a kid one of our farm vehicles was an old Willys Jeep like this one, but rusted out.

Body Work. Add Cube. Cut left side  Scale down/up and cut holes for door etc and add Mirror  First part of body work.
