:coolthup Tin,
I liked the result and would like to know how to do it.
But it seems too complicated and do not see myself in the mood to try to learn how to use Blender.

But I can not see movement. I tried, but could not.

You're so right. Looking at the foot shadow does the trick.

This train animation appears to reverse direction.

Hi,

How can I include my figure in that train gif? Is there a program I can use to do so?

I want to wait for that train eternally. Ha ha ha!

Conbagui, yours is moving really! that is actually the best result in the amazing effect. I suppose that it's very difficult to make it. :jumpclap

Yes. You can do it in GIMP. Just create a transparent image of the figure and place a copy above each of the four layers in the animation, then merge each figure down & export as an animated gif.

i wonder if conbagui's color scheme helps to see more movement in this image.

Nice illusion!

conbagui's color scheme seem to work really well! ;)
here's another try using diamond pattern.

here's a try with text, but i don't think text works as well as a repeated pattern.

Excellent work, Trandoductin. I like animations. Did you make it in Blender or Gimp?
