I saw a video a while ago where a woman was using baby oil to blend colored pencils....so I tried it out.

This took me about 6 or 7 hours, I'm not used to working so much in just one media for a single drawing so this was very hard for me. There is a small amount of white paint (the whitedots) and some highlights on the rock and other mushroom but you can't really see it on the mushroom. :lol

I used different brands and they all seemed to blend with baby oil so I think that's a good sign.
I used 140 LB watercolor paper, I cut an 11X15 piece in half so it's a pretty small drawing/painting/thing... :lol

Wow, I'm surprised baby oil works so well on watercolour paper. You've used it to good effect - nice mushrooms!

It worked quite well, better than it did on canvas with oil pastels. :tyspin

Moko, I apologize as I did not notice this post at it's earlier time. I am so amazed with your drawings! Your sketching and coloring is spectacular!
