I took an existing filter, modified it in the filter editor and saved it for later use. I'm not sure what I'm doing but I think I could make a filter from scratch.
Yeah it isn't to hard. My advice is to join the Filter Forge forums and check out some of the posts there. One fella there released a PDF on creating shapes within your filters. I think you will find that interesting indeed. Also you download filters free there.
https://filterforge.com/filters/recent-page1.html@ Lyle - YEAH! i know FF is really cheap now.
Kinda pisses me off as i have updated at a cost of 480 dollars thus far. =) From version 1 - 6 now. You can update for a lifetime license for 289 dollars i think. That is for Pro releases. Also be careful which filters you download from the Filter Forge site as ONLY filters built with 1-5 will work on 5 pro. NONE of the version 6 filters will work. Currently there are 8k + available. FREE.
You can also buy a full set of ALL available filters for version 5 and below (about 26 dollars i believe). This will come zipped with instructions on install. But then you really don't see what you are getting.
So you really don't need to KNOW how to build filters in it. There are plenty available. =) BUT it's fun to create them. Thats how Rodilius started out!
