racer-x Cool money animations and also discovering a new method ;)

The dollar bills animations could be components in something larger.....an animated logo on the federal reserve building or the international money fund. :rofl

I didn't use auto rotation because I can't make an animation that way... yet.

Trying to get any one of my video screen capture programs to work. That would be pretty awesome.

This thread is a gem. I'll get back to it later and have a more in depth look. Thanks PhotoMaster.

I exported a sculpture as an STL file , which I imported into Free CAD and animated it in Gimp. I love the plastic look of the sculpture.

Hey Racer-X, I tried duplicating your Velocity Stack, with obvious different settings. Yours is way better! I was trying to do things free hand so I spent more time on the animation than on the actual image.

Blender can also import .stl, but you are only importing the bare model. No texture, colors or animation keys are imported. You'll need to do all that in blender. At that point there is no reason not to just do the whole thing in blender.

The beauty of this little program is it's simplistic ability to create and animate sculptures. The downside is the complexity in capturing the images. Ideally it would have the ability to export animation sequence in 32-bit PNG files. For me, using a screen recording utility is the best way. All in all, it's still a fun little program to play with once in a while...

With the orange "plastic" one I used a free video screen capture, but GAP couldn't read it. I used a website to convert the video to jpg files. I need to upgrade my GAP since it had worked in the past.
