Not a graphics application as such, but nevertheless very interesting and cool graphics, as well a stacks of technical data on each shapes properties, could be useful for pretty much everything you want to know about 3-d polyhedra + stuff!

Another link to nicer looking (IMO) polyhedra, with the option to zoom in and out, not just turn them.

edit: Just realised you can, in fact, zoom in and out of the shapes in the first link I posted, just right-click & drag.

Another good site, racer-x, I like the fact that you can change the textures etc using the box on the lower-right, no idea how you got those effects ^ though!

Yea, it took me a few seconds to figure it out too. Use the boxes on the left to choose shape, then the boxes on the lower right to make adjustment to texture, shade, or able/disable....
