3D fractals can take many days or even weeks to render, a bit like bitcoin mining which of course causes carbon emissions.

I'm claiming this fractal render produced zero atmospheric carbon emissions because Tasmania is an island supplied by hydro electricity. At the moment the undersea cable connecting Tasmania to the mainland is broken and although there is one LNG-fired power station here it only supplies 2 metallurgical smelters. The rest us are not changing the Earths climate.

Watched and liked on YouTube. A really stunning piece of video hypnosis. I kept thinking the music was going to turn into "On Broadway" heard from a very far away place. The shadow effects coming in at around three minutes seemed to push the 3D into 4D. Being from one of the areas in the world that has done more than its share to change the climate, I salute your claim to zero carbon.

Nice work, I watched it without audio (only internal speaker) but enjoyed the slow and smooth pace, kinda relaxing to watch.
The background video must be longest coal train in history. :hehe
Double kudos if it was done without carbon emissions.

neurolurker always 'gets' my videos straight away. I recon you will publish something here soon.

Coal trains. The length of this video was the length of the coal train. Later discovered the railroad company is owned by Americas' largest company.

I would say Australia and the US have the longest trains. Many of our iron ore trains are driverless and are remote-controlled. All of our iron ore goes to just one place - we are being heavily conflicted by our exports. Of course, I can't talk about any of that here.

As artists we can also be 'change agents'. The world's problems are not going to be saved by another exquisite diversion or clever bit of coding.
