For a while I couldn't log in to my Deep Dream account, but yesterday I was finally back, so I generated some celbratory pieces in purple and gold tones. Then I put them together in gimp to this picture:

So much to look at in this image. :)
Ever think of painting in an "Easter-egg" (A hidden item) for people to find?

I agree with Wallace. You could hide all sorts of stuff in an image like this. It's a beauty!

Thanks for the comments!
Wallace & Erisian: It's a great idea, and I know what I'd want to hide, but easter egg hiding takes more planning of the image in advance than I'm used to. If I get round to doing, I'm counting on you two to join the hunt!

Just wish Deep Dream would allow for large hirez results, but understand that with all the demands, it must be taxing to their server.

Like the result too, AnMal. :)

I'm there AnMal!

You hide em, we'll find em.

Sounds like it could be fun! I know nothing about "Easter Egg" files. Anyone want to explain or give a tutorial?

Pat625: I don't think there is any need for a tutorial - an "Easter egg" in this case would just be a small image hidden in between the details of the larger image, and it would be an image that people here on GC would recognise as something related to GC or Gimp or something else that most of us here would know. And the Easter egg hider would have the hard job of hiding that image in plain sight in the larger image, which is what I'm busy thinking hard how to do right now :).

Wallace: Wow, if it's by the power of Greyskull he will have to lead that hunt for sure :hehe

lylejk: Oh I wish that every time I get a nice result on a deep dream! Sometimes I've been able to combine the images I get into slightly larger images, but the resolution itself is still not good. But of course, as you say, it would be a nightmare for their servers. The "rush hours" on DD are slow and sluggish as it is.

That's right! AnMal.
:)

The GC Head Easter Egg Hunter cabinet position.
Is a life-timer appointment,
which can't in any way be declined by the appointee.
Once appointed into this position,
it's yours for life.

:hehe

Example image. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find Wilber.

Strictly speaking, chief Easter egg searcher is a 'religious' position therefore outside of site policy.
Now you are free again Erisian.

Found.
Actually it was where I 'thought' it was. Your next post made it obvious
