"Some of the fractals are barely tame enough to render..." One of those must be the little spectrum cube guy and his gang flying around the abandoned car. I found myself wanting to say, "NO! Don't go in that cave!" Animation has always amazed me with the sudden feelings that can be evoked from nothing more substantial than moving lines and colors. How is it possible that such things can take on the trappings of an emotional life of their own -- even for an instant?

I like your videos. Thanks for sharing.

Wow, I'm glad you guys are enjoying this. Fun to make except when I'm in headphones for hours and forget to talk to my partner. :(

Erisian, I think the singer is Scott Miller. Why are guys called 'Miller' always good singers?

Neuro, a great comment. The 'cave' is actually a 130 year old gold mine. We have a word down here called 'hoons'. They drive noisy cars real fast etc. Hoons left a maybe stolen car upside down in an area once sluiced by hydraulic hoses. For the next century metal detectorists looking for gold will be finding car parts. I did a video in that small mine but its amateur compared to the North American mine explorers.

lyle, you seem to know about 'shrooms'.

Mainah_Ayuh, it's a bit like Maine here but the wild life hops around mostly. You would love it.

Excellent job Tas, very well done. You keep getting better with each project. Almost tempted to try Mandelbulber, but not yet in the mood to try new tools. Maybe someday, who knows...

Thanks for the 'like' racer. Mandelbulber produces a lot of imagery, possibly even infinite but it's based on equations. Going deeper it's based on 'imaginary numbers'. ATM I'm a bit of a heretic in the fractal community because I include 'real world' material with fractals.

What you are doing with ultra realism and various software is excellent. Why go on another tangent?
