well I haven't made anything yet, cause the thing I was working on got lost when Blender imploded. But I am learning it! Anyway have any experience in Blender if I have questions? Or should I seek out other places?

I should have some stuff coming up soon, as the week end is coming up and I have Tuesday and Wednesday off next week and then Thursday 5 and 6th hour finals then done with 9th grade! Hurrah!

Congrats for becoming a Softmore Willy! :) -- good job!
I just started learning a bit about Blender myself.Your best bet is to go right to the source --the Blender website.
Learn the interface first then the tools. Then do something simple like a couple Youtube tutorials - making a simple model of something.HeathenX has a good one for making a vitamin bottle.

Most importantly have fun!

if you look in his gallery, he has a blender tut, and he is starting learning it too! and is tons of help!
I should have something up later today, made it at school, but rendering it froze and crashed Blender, either this is cause computers are Junky or because it was running off my flash drive, or maybe some of both

The trick to Blender is all the shortcut keys.Learn those and you are pretty well set. :)
Thanks for the link Willy.

I experimented with blender a few times and never got the hang of it. I also didn't see a use for it because it didn't export to any format i could use. But I must have missed something, considering how popular it is.

The reason I didn't upload anything is cause the thing I wanted to render is like 120mb :| don't ask me how though.

Hopefully.... I can get something a bit smaller that I can render today, no more promises with Mr.Fickle Blender.

Looks like you are having fun with it.I saw a tutorial on rendering out a 3-D 45 pistol that looked cool.Search blender tutorials on YouTube and you will find it. :)

They look great Willy. I started reading the book and just doodling nothing I have kept though. I do want to learn but that may not be until this winter when things slow down here a bit. :)
