Yup, all based on the original Flame algorithm.

https://flam3.com/

There are several flame generating programs for all platforms.

I recently made a tutorial for the flame plugin too. ;)

That's a long standing filter I use time to time, I would love an update like to have bigger thumbnail, though. Anyway that's a cool filter ;)

MareroQ did re-do/recompile (at least I saw them on its website, I think it's https://www.gimpscripts.net/ ) some plugins with bigger/better view like the "Curve Bend", "Sphere designer", and many others, but it's only for Microsoft Windows, nothing for Linux :cry :bawl

Heard about it when I was going through my fractal craze. But have never used that program.

I've played with it. I still have Apop7x and Apop 2.09. Both applications still work.

@MareroQ Nice one. Works with (similar to you) (k)ubuntu 20.04. I tried it in a Mint21 (VM) and it works there. One consequence of the larger preview. The height of the dialogue is obviously larger and if using an old laptop with smaller display typ. 1366x768 the bottom of the Edit dialogue is off the screen ;)

Back to Apophysis
There is a new version Apophysis AV see: https://sourceforge.net/projects/apophysis-av/ for a description. As with other versions works ok with linux WINE.

Yes i agree the newer compiled plug-ins with large view should also have scalable window dialogs as well.
However (in Windows) you can TAB thru the options. But it would be nice to have sizable dialogs.

Thanks rich2005 for the update. Love the splash!

Ooh, if I had known about this before I would have included it in my tutorial.
