Thanks Rob and Rod! Believe it or not I learned a lot this weekend about Inkscape! :) Not like I'm going to be creating any master pieces in it but .. I'm a little more familiar with it now!

May i suggest the podcast at Heathenx.org
http://screencasters.heathenx.org/

Just start from the micro beginner episodes first (1-10), and then start at podcast 1 and keep watching.There are 106 right now i believe. :)
Also check out the online manual by http://tavmjong.free.fr/INKSCAPE/
I really wish HeathenX would return.He and Richard make a great team.
