i stumbled yesterday on TopMod for linux and winwin , open source

the description is a bit cryptic in more simple words may allow to create amazing 3d sculptures (not only abstract, i saw human skeleton and even cathedral..

me too but many seems filters..well 3d filters but not more complex that filters

You select a face and put in the values and click extrude.And it works.
And you can't beat FREE!
