I use Dan Richies (Project Dogwaffle) Howler-7.2. Not free but has the added animation software. :)

Quite a few actually.
Orbicals - orbiting particles around the tip of the brush.
Awesome video frame tools
3D tools
Almost all filters work in real time
If you get a chance try and check out some of Phillips youtube stuff for Dog Waffle and Howler.

Do you know why it's called Dog Waffle?
Because Dan has/had a dog named Waffle. :)
Not sure if he still does, that was years ago.

Erisian the free version is basically the very first and old version
nothing to compare with the last, (or even with the previous PD 4)

My paint is a totally different thing, sure both are for paint but there end similitudes

Thanks PC. I've got both now and may buy PD in the near future. I've been playing around with My Paint and find it a lot of fun. Wish it had more layer modes though. An overlay layer is essential to me when I paint as I work in greyscale first then add colour before flattening and painting as normal.
