New Blender 2.67 with Freestyle!
Freestyle is the line-art style of non-photorealistic rendering.
It allows to render 2d-3d cartoon-like animations.

Photorealism is a OK, but with freestyle i'm having a lot of fun these days.
My recent work here with blender/freestyle conversion
