Mandelbulb 3D? Lovely work. Was this already symmetrical or did you Gimp it?

Thank you Erisian. Mandlebub it is, your right (can you be wrong at the moment) :cool and I mirror arrayed it twice.

After doing it once I turned it 90 degrees before doing again. I also had a go at making it clearer but every time I did something I think I undid it. Only thing I actually changed was the background colour. I wanted it to look like slime because I originally could see the aliens' legs - they have an acid slime. Then after arraying it I could see the other aliens head twice (side on).

Do you remember Predator, a technologically advanced form of extraterrestrial life?
I only did the head twice. Image Image merged with the Predator image.

If you look closely though you will see the legs and other appendages of the other aliens that were born from eggs. Legs composed the main part of the young.

Aliens follows Sigourney Weaver's character Ellen Ripley as she returns to the planet where her crew encountered the hostile Alien creature, this time accompanied by a unit of Colonial Marines.

I admit it. I am a science fiction fanatic

I find movies with spiders in them even worse. Seen one movie where a foreign spider makes a nest on farm twice. Screamed every time I saw one - still watched it though. ?

sallyanne:  i think you're talking about the movie my friend keeps trying to get me to watch - i refuse every time! i love that kind of movies otherwise, but i don't think i could watch a movie where spiders play such a major part. i had to close my eyes through the shelob parts of "lord of the rings" and my sister told me when i could open my eyes again. i caught one look and that was enough to make me scream!
