Just installed it (forgot to un-install 3.62, but did so afterwards w/ no issue). Still free, but licensing changed so you have to install a separate program for POVRay editors if you use Windows (different licensing). It auto-tells you all that so the process is pretty much flawless. Works fine.

I used povray before blender. Loved it. May try it again. Gotta find linux package though.
