Approaching Olymphia ...

Image

if you like see bigger (till 4800x3600  ) ,get the parameters or see the making of

---------------------

yes i decided to put the not-gimp works here, also to avoid confusion

This is done with Mandelburb3D , are basically 3 fractals (the background, the city full of temples and pillars, and the dark flying thing ) combined in 1, not with postwork but rendering the first, then loading it as background for the second and so on

Very nice. :bigthup

And also very very expensive, I suppose, if only looking at the stunning amount of gold those temples are supposed to be made of.
:blingbling

photo comix: wow! that perspective is awesome - gives me a feeling of vertigo :). aren't those "eggs" the same ones i wanted to see in an underwater scene? what happened to that underwater scene, did you ever get it done?

oh yes the eggs were a experiment of vehicle , would work even better if in this peculiar case the preview would show something less vague then a dense blob
no i didn't finished that underwater scene but i am i learning this "multiple exposure" trick i believe it could be marvel in a short animation :
i saw very nice video of "travels in a fractal world" but to me soon become a bit boring see always in "subjective" without never see what is moving and who is driving ... Till now this multiple exposition method can't be used for M3D animation techinically is possible
