OMG: Very nice! You know I'm going to ask. . .how did you get the clear horses down to the small one? I know you used paths inbetweener but what about the rest of it? Is it the same as the main horse or a different method?

Omg you've hit me where my soul glows. That is beautiful and powerful. In a former life I must have had horses because whenever I see one I feel an endearment towards them.

Issabella, Pat625 and Dalia - thank you. Yes there is something about horses and sunsets and the sunsets in the Megalong Valley where this shot was taken are just magical.

Pat - as you know when we do these transpaernt figures from line art drawings, there ar two sets of shapes. The first is the 'outline' of the horse and that is used to get the shape and contours via BRL. The second set is the highlights (the black lines) in the line art.

So I used the path of the highlights for the large horse, duplicated it, scaled the duplicate down to 25%, then used Ofnuts path inbetweener to get 10 paths along a (curved) path, which is a setting in path in betweener.

Then I did a 1 pixel black stroke of the multiple paths of the resulting curved highlights paths, then ran glass BRL against it. It is only the highlights on that curved path from the small to the large glass horse.

Hope thats clear. :)

Thank you OMG, for the instructions as to how you completed your multiple horse image. I had tried creating an image with your "wire framed" glass but it did not look right. I will try an image with your instructions. Thank you again.

My bedroom window view when growing up were the Twin Towers. Today I thought I'd imagine them under glass.

Very nice. Is the view from Jersey or staten island?

I think Jersey. Growing up my view was from Brooklyn. For this tutorial I changed the background from the original light blue sky to what you see above.

Dalia - for many reasons a very powerful image. :clap

Trying out some different things now, so here is a darkened glass, tube shape aquarium for jelly fish with LED lights, inside a clear glass aquarium for gold fish

Dalia and Pat - creative? ... no I just like playing with ideas and images ... :)

As I am going to be busy elsewhere this coming week I thought I had better make another post with some other 'ideas and images' that I played with. Not sure if our Opera House has been moved to the Huangpo River in Shanghai or if Shanghai is now in Sydney Harbour ...

Still trying to put a different slant on the clear glass style; so sometimes what we see aound us everyday is not always what we would like to be viewing right now ...

... Mt Cook in new Zealand and sunset on the fringes of the Simpson Desert in Oz.
