Thank you, OMG. I love doing the clear glass.

My husband & I feel the same way about automobiles. I have worked with people that had to have the most expensive cars even if they had to sacrifice more necessary things!

I really like that Issabella. Oddly, I was just searching for an image I could do some clear glass on as I have not visited this thread lately!

I should have kept this for July 4th but I have the idea now. I may not remember then.

Pat625 - very nice, but I am not quit sure what comment to make given what I am reading/viewing on the 'presidential race'.

But I am glad you ladies have posted in this thread once again, as it also gives me an excuse. So, just where else would you park your glass car ...

I like your glass car! Hope no metal basket cart hits it unless it is that "transparent aluminum"!
I didn't even think about the presidential race when trying to find something to do for this thread. It's a mess anyway!!

OMG, Pat625 and Issabella! Wonderful tutorial, exquisite outcomes. I tried, got as far as the outline and realized Bevel Reflect Logo does not work on a mac!

Thank you for that information 2-ton. I'll have to figure out why it doesn't show up on mine. Downloaded the latest version (1.6) and have placed it in the scripts folder. Have "told" Gimp where to call it from; no luck.

Mine is under filters>alpha to logo>bevel reflect logo
There is a companion filter that has to be in your system but now I've forgotten what it is called.

The companion filter is ML Bevel Reflect plug-in. Thanks for trying to help me out. If I ever figure it out will post for other mac users :tyspin

I never had any trouble with it, just put them in their folders and it has worked fine since then. Good luck. I have the same version...
Bevel Reflect Logo V1.6
Requires GIMP 2.8.x (or higher)

2-ton! Were it not for you... I deleted the scm's, plugins etc. Closed Gimp, added them back to appropriate places. Opened Gimp, refreshed scripts and it (BRL) has shown up. Of course it must have been something I did wrong. Oh geez, now I'll never get to sleep. Thank you!!!

So excited - thanks 2-ton again. Couldn't go to bed without trying it, ergo only one horse :lol Learned that I should take into consideration exactly where I want to place my subject so it doesn't appear they're walking on water  Thank you oldmangrumpy, absolutely great tutorial (oh! and thank you too for the path's lesson). Will definitely play with this one tomorrow. I can now go to bed :zzz

That's real nice, Dalia. I find that these tutorials get addictive after awhile!
