This effect is really nice, Lyle. :) I couldn't get a nice result by myself, either. :(
Thank you so much Animicule for making it so easy to apply. :) :tyspin

Here are some results using different sizes on a very large image for processing.
It looks to me like best results for showing the effect are found at
lower sizes of image for processing. The image was about 4333 width
and the outcome from processing at 8666 width looks about the same as the original.

So, I will do another version tonight with options for processing at intervals
of 500 widths or original size as I believe that will help in finding the beauty
spot in more images.

Impressive (not showing; haven't even started playing with the tweaks yet; lol). Cool stuff, Brian. :)

Thanks Brian. I got this result with your filter. But in the second I got an error message.

Issabella, very beautiful Ice outcome!
That line for gmic smoothing runs on every image,
it is not optional. Did you try again?

I've tried it again and no problem so far. Thank you so much. I like the results in v3, and many options. :)

Baden is very sharp & detailed!
Here is a colorful one - pixabay - w/version 4 (fixed the binary 000/111 control on pre/post, - binary count blunder).

I agree with you, Pat, very nice.
Now that I've decided to get rid of G'mic for a (long) while, luckily animicule is in the game and can create nice filters following Lyle's tuts; Lyle is happy too.
