Text Line in an oblique direction on your background

open gimp and make a black background 1000x800

type your text in the center of your background as shown in the example

01-click in your tools the rotate tool
02-click once on your text, rotate your text as shown in the example

first slide your text in the upper left corner

01-duplicate your text
02-select your move tool
03, put the cursor on your text and move it next to each other,so you obtain a line of text

01-close the eye of your background by clicking on it
02-select the top layer
03, right-click and merge visible layers

open the eye of your background by clicking on it
select your text layer
than select your rotate tool
click once on your text
rotate your text so that those is in the upper left and lower right corner of your background

01-select your move tool
02-slide your text line as shown in the example

01-duplicate your text line
02-select your move tool put your cursor on your text and slide under as shown in the example

Now select again your text layer

01-Duplicate your text layer
02-put your cursor on your text and move the text line up as shown in the example

01-close the eye of your background
02-select the top layer
03, right-click and merge visible layers

open the eye of your background

01-select your text layer
02-Duplicate your text layer
03-put your cursor on your text and slide it down
Duplicate the text layer again and again and slide it down

select your textlayer again and slide it up until the background is filled with your text lines
