What I tried to do last night and BRL wouldn't help. A mandala in glass - thanks for the idea Omg, Issabella, Pat, Meemaw!

Dalia - that is beautiful and very peaceful :bigthup
Issabella - as always your outcomes (such a speedy response!) make excellent contributions :hi5

I am glad this thread still inspires you both.

Thank you Omg, it still does inspire. I have to say this is one of my very favorite tutorials; I learned a few new things and the outcome is so pleasing to the eye. Thank you for putting it together Omg. :tyspin

I was going to put this in my shadows/reflections thread but given the nature of the skaters, it is now in the 'clear glass' thread.

The lake is 5 minutes from my home and has some great restaurants on a promenade overlooking the lake which can be seen behind the fountain. There is an ice skating rink close by and a couple of magic skaters decided to show their wares on the water ...

Wow Omg, there's no end to your creativity - you're going to make the folks at the funny farm crazy.

Sorry I have not been posting but my computer has been giving me fits! As soon as I have everything copied from it that I want to keep, it is going to the Geeks. They have revived it in the past, but I am not sure this time. It took me several days to do this as after I did something, the program would shut down. It is not as complete as I would have tried otherwise.

Oooh, what a beautiful window looking out onto a great view.

I hope your computer gets fixed soon Pat - I'd miss you and your work. Can't do without our banjo player.

Lovely tutorial thanx OMG, in section 3.3, 4-6, I had to manually align my background copy (pasted layer), did I make the copy incorrectly (I clicked directly over the brumbie)?Image

RJKD: Beautiful job! I love it.

Sometimes when I do these photos, I find that when I paste the copied selection to a new layer, it is off a bit. I just use the move tool to re position it. I do not know why sometimes it is perfect and other times not.

Well, I'm officially addicted. Can't get away from clear glass images. I am having a hard time with getting new ideas that might be nice. Here's my latest attempt.

Pat625 - absolutely inspirational; If that is your form of 'not having any new ideas', then I want some of whatever you are are taking. Love it.
