"Just near"? You greatly underestimate your skills. That's a fantastic picture.

You're welcome RJKD and I agree with Sasquatch.

Just returned from the Aussie bush, where we have seen dams full of water, caves full of water, rivers full of water and flowing fast, but sadly too for the farmers, fields full of water ruining their winter crops. Wettest winter in 40 odd years; so here is my comment in glass extruded text, using some words from the iconic poem by Dorothea Mackeller -

I love your results in this kind of lettering. :clap
I'd love to do something as yours (all of you) but I see it too difficult for me, I think. ;)

This what I mean about inspiration, throw me a bone guys, how do you make such small work while retaining such integrity, I've been trying to figure out how to make thumbnails but it just keeps going over my head? Your 'band logos' Wallace are fantastic, thank you.

Thanks RJKD. ;)

About the thumbnails.
Do you mean posting your images here to Gimp Chat as thumbnails?

Unfortunately Wallace, I really don't have a clue about how image size / resolution and file size relate to each other, somehow my brain can't seem to absorb the information I probably need. You suggested posting thumbnails rather than great big images so I thought "Ok - just how do I do that then?"
Other than Facebook and Ms Office, Gimp and GimpChat is my first venture into the digital world.
I try to research on-line but mostly get myself into more of a tangle than not.
The thumbnails you and OMG have posted are fantastic, however when (for example) I tried to make a GimpChat banner, I couldn't keep definition within such a small image size.

No problem RJKD.

I try to help whenever I can.
We're all learning,
even those with vast "Gimp Know-How".
Can still learn a thing or two.
