Tutorial 3 now available below - it uses chisel and carve for a different purpose here and creates these lead light style glassy images

There are a number of glassy patterns included in the tutorials that are attached below as ZIPs as well of course as the tutorial ZIP itself.

Thank you again, OMG. I really love learning how to use the Chisel & Carve script as well as other photo manipulations techniques, and things that can be done in Gimp that I had never known how to do or thought about. Here is my submissions for Tut #3:
