Thank you Gimper66 for another very nice tutorial. I enjoyed doing this one very much. Instructions were very clear and easy to follow.

This tutorial would be appropriate for anyone new to GIMP as instructions are very clear and the screenshots are so helpful.

Pat, pay attention to the hands (fingers) position, as such they do not "support" appropriately the Crystal ball, better to have the index finger in front of the ball, not behind (unless you "recreate" the fingers aspects to separate more widely the index finger from the middle finger)

Thanks Sallyanne for your nice comment.
Dinasset, you are correct. At first I thought I did have them in front. Now I put on my glasses and notice that I should wear them even when using the computer! Good catch!

Just catched because I wear glasses, Pat....hehehe
Glad you didn't consider it as a critique, but as a helping comment, as it wanted to be.

well done, mackenzieh.
next attempt you may apply to the right hand what you did for the left one (I mean the fingers position)

I wasn't trying to go for perfect and I wasn't concerned about the positioning of the fingers. I just wanted to attempt it and I think I did a decent job. I'm glad you like it.

Mackenzieh, you have worked well but a small note, right shows that the fingers of the hand does not touch the glass bulb.
You can move the hand slightly until it touches the glass globe,or resize the glass globe until he touches the fingers of both hands.
then wipe the glass around the fingers as you have done perfectly at the left side.
