Thanks for the tutorial mahvin. I got lost down in the steps in #4 so this didn't turn out as well as I would have liked but the text effects are nice....Image

Step 4 is just about inverting the selection for the text (that you saved to a path) for the background around the text, and for the text selection itself, don't invert the selection.
