quick texture brushes using blend

(BlendToolWormTextureBrush)

1 create worm with blend tool

2 duplicate layer

3 add grayscale mask

4 select alpha then invert it

5 move down one layer (gimp wont copy mask layers)

6 copy visible and paste as layer

7 select the new layer

8 filters>alpha-logo>3d_outline

9 atocrop the top layer

10 export as YOURS.gbr

done.

Text xcf png and gbr are in the zip

PS you can change the color by adding a new color layer in COLOR mode
Also the texture by applying a pattern in VALUE MODE.

just experiment. :paint

Any chance we can see the brush in action before we download it? Maybe an image or something? Thanks! :)

The brush was used for avatar type skin texture. Applied to transparent top layer with color blend mode. works ok for me.
