I dunno Drac. I don't even remember where I got it, I just saw where someone was looking for it so I posted it. Is that the one you gave me? I dunno???...all I know is that there are many places to get it from.

No big deal. I just thought it was interesting that they were so similar. I just noticed the "becker" in the middle of the font name is all.

i've done it!!! draconian, your metal tutorials looked so interesting but they scared me a bit and this one was the worst and it was also the one i really wanted to do the most. i missed out in a few places but i now know exactly what went wrong so i don't mind. i also suspected the result would be too dark if used on a bigger space, so i tweaked it a little to get some more light in - and here is my rusty old paisley unit. probably cast iron, made sometime in the beginning of last century and found in a dark recess of the old tool shed at my grandparents' old farm. i might use it for a door handle.

you've really taken on a handful with the metal tutorials, thank you for sharing all this!

Beautiful work AnMal. It's Drac's tutes that got me going with metal and textures and enabled my latest creations.

I got lost somewhere during this and had to improvise. I used my own grunge brushes for the grunge layer. The font "Angelic War" was already decayed which is why I chose it.

They both look good to me. I really like that font Erisian, hard to read tho.

erisian: that text looks beautifully corroded. i understand your choice of font completely, it looks made for this kind of treatment. i'll definitely try out more of draconian's metal tutorials, they seem to inspire people all over the place.

Thanks all. AnMal - Drac's tutorials are excellent and help to develop a lot of different skills but do try other tutorials as well. You'll be surprised what you can learn from them.

I prefer the Lady of Chaos - Eris herself. :)
