Thanks! I forgot to attach a couple of things though. Here's the Grunge pic I used (guess you could use anything) and the font. If I forgot anything else let me know.

The font is DeVinneOrn and you can get it here...

Well I finally got through it, wow, what a long tute, you put a lot of work into that one Drac. I got sort of tangled up in some of the steps so I fudged it so it didn't come out as nice as yours, anyway, here it is.

Looks pretty darn good to me Molly. I may know where the tangled up part was. Was it the add layer mask on the duplicate grunge layer? Supposed to be just a black layer at 40% with the text selection deleted. I screwed that part up and one other I found. I'll get it corrected and posted Monday. Sorry about that.

I think the bump map looks a little better set to spherical instead of sinusoidal and depth at 3 instead of 5 so it's not quite pronounced. Kinda smooths it out a little so it's not so ragged looking.

Like I said, this was a PS tut so all the hard work was done by someone else I just wanted to recreate it in GIMP cuz I thought it was really cool looking.

Drac I'll have a go at that later but I'll try to do a frame with it and see how it comes out. Thanks for PDF file.

I had to put this aside for the moment. The clarification for step 30 didn't really clarify things for me. I know it's been a while but any enlightenment, Draconian?
