 Post subject: How to add Text behind a Picture

I ran across this tutorial in my travels and thought it was interesting. It is in a video and text. I made the text one into a pdf added below.

Here is mine, I did one with the water reflection but didn't care for it so I will hunt for another pic and try again.

I usually just turn down the opacity of the text and erase the part of the text that covers the object, like this

Wow, I really like that alc. What font is that. I can't seem to find a font that will get nice and fat like that.

Yes, I think erasing the part or using a mask is easier.

I've tried a few images that I thought would look nice with the text behind them, but have not as of yet been satisfied with their outcome.
I'll keep trying until I get something that I feel is worth posting. ;)
