Was just playing around on Gimp the other day, when this effect started to emerge, so went with the flow.

So I decided I would create a tutorial for it.

Note - updated to V01 to correct an error.

I had trouble in step 4, adding noise to new layer, couldn't add noise to transparent layer ¿, had to duplicate the clouds and added noise to that

So that was what the problem was. I couldn't get the noise either. I tried adding a white layer but that didn't work. Good to know.

alc59 - Yes my fault forgot to mention the layer needs to be filled with grey 808080 first before running the noise filter, amended the pdf.

Had to do one more. I don't recommend using yellow for BG, but too lazy to change it.
