I wouldn't call this a "step by step tutorial" but it's a coloring process to show how I did something, it's purpose is to give you the idea not tell you how to.

P.s: I noticed some typos...sorry about that. :S

It's interesting to see how you put this together. It's always helpful to read other people's methods because you often pick up something useful that you wouldn't otherwise have thought of.

My coloring style in MyPaint is a influenced a bit by my Traditional Art style.

mokonafan: it looks a bit complicated to me with this switching between software, but i can see it pays for you. i'm supposed to introduce gimp, mypaint and tuxpaint at work this autumn, so i'll probably need to get back to your mypaint reviews and brush descriptions and this thread too.

Well I hope this stuff helps.
It's not really that hard for me, but maybe I'm used to doing everythimg the hard way.

The next MyPaint should have more layer modes so maybe the switch won't be as needed as it is for me now. Lol

I hope it goes well with the introduction.
