I send my Christmas cards to an online printer to produce a physical, lacquered card. This is why the image is long and narrow - to fit the proportion of the card. The printer I use also allows you to print on the back of the card, so I have a little graphic on there with little dudes running around with a Christmas gift.
I then write a personal greeting on each card (with red ink and sobel brush) and post it in an envelope (which you can also buy from the print shop).
I also post the digital version here and there for those not getting the physical card.
