Using the GAP plugin to edit videos and add special effects!
Make sure to watch in 1080p in fullscreen... it looks alot better!

Can you not just use the master videoencoder and convert the multi-layered image back into an avi? It's easier than importing the individual frames into a movie making program.

I don't know that the video encoder is available on Windows (though it should be, since it's based on FFMPEG/Mplayer).

In fact, if you have Mplayer available then there is a rather nice interactive dialog for selecting your input range (available by holding down SHIFT while clicking on the "Video Range" button in the Input Video Selection dialog.

I have Mplayer available, but I've just noticed that, as I usually use an mplayer based extraction, using videorange I cannot load any videos. I receive the following error on every video format:

Execution error for procedure 'gimp-file-load':
Unknown file type

Any suggestions? I would like to check out that which you mentioned in your last post.
