Hi everyone, I did my first tutorial on YouTube. The first one I did is the Glass Effect tutorial.
I'll admit I don't think the video is all that great and I'm just now learning how to make screen videos.
I'll get better at it as I do more and learn more about the editing and the screen recording program
Blueberry Flash Back. Well I hope you like and here is the links to the tutorials.

There are two parts to this tutorial. Sorry, I forgot to mention this. Both are on Youtube.

I did the first tutorial. Interesting. Although downloading the Stars in the Sky script was in the tutorial, it wasn't used in the tutorial. Perhaps a later tutorial?

I love the script but I could not get enough color for my purposes so I did the following:
I kept the original layer and selected alpha to selection
I created a New layer (blue)>invert>edit>cut>invert >select none
I set the new layer opacity to about 30 and set the mode to soft light

I guess you could play around with the layer mode and opacity to get the desired results. Depends on how dark your background is.

Thoughts?

@Rod,thank you and it won't be too long before I do another one. :)
@Draconian, to get the color I want, I sometimes will duplicate the color layer and then go to the mode and hit multiply or I will go into the colors and mess with the curve and then go back to messing with the modes. I like the way you did the glass text :). I wanna try something with how you did the (blue)>invert>edit>cut>invert >select none . I think you gave me idea for something. But I will post after I do this other tutorial and help all three of my kids with their homework. I love the way the blue sets off the edges and makes it look like real glass. Great Job :)
