Hello, I don't know whether anyone has posted this or not, but there are a lot of GIMP video tutorials here:

the guy speaks slowly and the tutorials are great for beginner-medium level. There are also inkscape, CSS, and html tutorials.

thats the 'tutor4u' guy, i have him on subscription because his tutorials are really good :luvstruck

there is even a simple Inkscape video that just screams 'Beginner'

That's what I really need - a simple Inkscape tutorial. I don't do a lot in Inkscape, but I'd really like to know more about using it. That tutorial fills the bill.
