(please consider watching in HD if you can)

Timelapse video of me painting Watched Wave, my christmas card for this year. This is a heavily sped-up summary of nearly two week's of sporadic work, but I have tried to annotate it to make it clearer what is going on. It's usually fun to see how someone else goes about things, so I hope you enjoy!

This is awesome, I never thought that it was possible to achieve such a level of detail.
I am amazed and absolutely fan.
Thank you for the video

I had a hunch you're amazing when I put you on my watchlist on DA. This video just makes me so sad, because you're just so damn good at this and I'm really not, lol.

:paint <--you - me --> :cry

Thanks a lot for the comments, it's actually pretty fun also for me to have a record of my work like this. It's also always fun to look up creative commons-licensed music for these videos. These ones are by zero-project. :)

Great skills. I wonder how much of it is prevision and how much of it is random improvisation.

I did plan a rough idea for the layout in my head but essentially all finer details are done improvisationally along the way. And some large things, such as the open field in the upper right as well as the man waving in the lower right, took quite a while before they were removed!

Excellent. When i view any of your art i get this picture in my head of you having a dream and then painting what you saw in your head. Your imagination, and ideas as well as your art are fascinating. :)

Whereas I do plan things in my head beforehand, actually dreaming an image has only rarely happened to me. It did happen for for my "River Tunnel" image long ago - woke up and painted it. I wish that happened more often. :)

Thanks! Music from "Untold Stories of a Dying Moon" by zero-project, s/he is a composer that releases much of their work under Creative Commons (http://zero-project.gr/). :)

Wow! :flirt :bowdown :bowdown :wow
Incredible! Loved it! :jumpclap :clap :bigthup :coolthup
It was like watching a nice movie or read a good book!
riveting! (I learned another new word!)
The end of the story was sad ... :(
Remove the character blond, after already under familiar with him, it was a bit cruel. :hoh

Thank you for sharing this whole process! I hope that you will continue sharing more and more!
The song was also an excellent choice!
:paint :tyspin

A very lovely speed-paint! I'm not one who actually watches a video beyond 2 minutes without skipping to the end, but I watched the whole video! Nice work, I enjoyed it! :cool :hi5

I glad you liked it! Haven't had a timelapse beeing compared to a nice move before. :) I have done several timelapses, you are welcome to look them up on YouTube if you like.

Thanks moko! Some have indeed complained that the video is somewhat long to watch, but I really couldn't cram 2 weeks of paintings into a shorter video ... ;)

I not only liked. I really loved it! Watched in full, and it was good that the video was not short because the fun would have been reduced.
I started watching it here in GC, but suddenly it was no longer possible to see in HD, so I decided to see on YouTube, and there was possible level in HD again. In the end I subscribed to the channel!
Yet checked the contents of the channel on youtube, but it's a matter of time!
