Making A G'MIC 3D Elevation Animation

I started with this animation.

Then applied G'MiC > Rendering > 3D Elevation to all frames.

3D Elevation was written about 10 years ago. When animating with G'Mic it's best to select just one layer to start with and when happy 'select all'. This filter needs an extra frame to work with and it reduces the number of frames.
I recolored with Alienmap.

Very cool! Almost like sound waves.

Cheers mahvin. This time I animated G'MIC > 3D Image Object > 'weird'.

Possibly the first time this has been done. I found that only one output mode works and it's 'New Layers'.
When complete you delete the initial animation and leave the new layers.

Strange how not all of the 'weird' structure is animated.
It would be good if G'MIC had a developers 'code box' so you could paste in a filter and change parts of it.

You can use command line in GMIC. David comes on GimpChat ever so often. Leave him a message.
