Looking back at life in Australia in the 60's and 70's. Traveling, surfing, working and searching for new dimensions.

I used your 'Psychedlic' graphic JayTT. Thanks.

Music is 'Poser Slave' by Hisko Detria from Finland. I scrubbed the vocals because I just wanted the beat.

Thanks Gimp Chat and my animation friends. I had some excellent suggestions. I almost made this here :)

Well done Tas. Lots of nice effects. My favorites were the jello effect starting at 27 second mark and the wobbly bubbles. :bigthup

I'm gonna have to start using a thesaurus. I've run out of superlatives for your animations and don't want to become a bore. Yesterday I watched "The Birth of Earth", which came up as a YouTube recommendation, and then followed to "A Day in the Life of Planet Earth" and "A Change in the Weather." Yesterday was a good day. Today is a double-plus good day.

I'm really glad people are enjoying this. These are 'trying times' and we need tools to survive them.

Hi racer, the 'jello effect' is easy in davinci. Probably pushed the phase and strength sliders too far. I also used a vortex effect around the same time with davinci. That software has a weird bug. If you delete a clip the rest of the timeline automatically slides left to replace it. You can't stop it but I found a work around.

Most of this was done in Gimp.

Hi neuro. I also like 'A Day In the Life of Planet Earth'. I recommend 'Greetings from Gondwanaland'- it's about geology with an Aboriginal soundtrack. A Boolean Blockchain Meditation from 2019 is a chill out.
