The pictures aren't by me, their author attempted an animation with them but the result wasn't good, so I showed him how to do it better. The shift on the leaf gives a nice depth effect (a bit by accident :)).

The animation was done using two different pics of the same insect (likely the photographer took a burst and got lucky).
